Idea - heating sprinklers

One thing I think would be a great thing to invent would be a way to melt ice and snow on sidewalks and roads.

We already have a system in place for watering the lawns to make them green and healthy, why not have a system that does this for the snow, but instead of water, it's heat. The things pop up from the ground, like a sprinkler head, but instead of water, heat comes out, to melt away the ice off of the sidewalks.

I'm not sure how this would work for the highways, maybe something on the sides, or some type of heating system underneath.

There you go, heat sprinklers.

Independent Newspapers

Social Idea: Along the same line as the Independent Library, an Independent Newspaper is vital for a free society. An independent Newspaper is a news hub produced by citizens that is not funded by the government, corporations, or any other institution. It is funded by private citizens through independent donations.

As long as newspapers exist as a profit making business, you'll always have news that is skewed towards sensationalism in order to sell the most amount of papers possible.

The only way to have freedom of speech is to have an independent voice for that speech, which would be the independent newspaper, funded by the citizen, created for the citizen.

Independent Libraries

Social Idea: Independent Libraries are libraries that are funded by citizens of the state. The Libraries are not funded by the state or national government, corporations, or any other institution, instead the library is funded by independent citizens.

Any library that is funded by the government is ultimately controlled by that government. They cannot bite the hand that feeds them, so libraries have a duty to be faithful to the funding party that supplies them with the money they need to operate.

But libraries should be a place for freedom of thought, freedom of expression, and freedom from the influence of controlling institutions.

The only way for the library to truly offer such a venue for these freedoms is to be free from the control of state governments and other institutional. A library for the citizen, by the citizens.

Idea: A brick and mortar store where people can come in and sit down with a professional that can help them manage their personal finances. There are many solutions for people that are well-off to manage their money, but there is a large segment of the market that is not being served.

A Personal Finance store would offer the following services: Identify costs, identify revenue, strategies to help with debt management, income management, and budgeting for upcoming expenses, etc., it's like a ceo and cfo for the home.

Solution for the Market: services that offer professional finance management for households.

Dessert Restaurant

Idea: A sit-down restaurant that just serves desserts. With the competition of so many other restaurants, one way to distinguish yourself in the market is to offer a different product. A restaurant that only serves desserts is a different product.

It still allows people to go out and experience the same benefits of other sit-down restaurants, but the product is much different, which makes the restaurant stand out from its competition.

Idea: Create a small business solutions store where small business owners can go to get help running and managing their small business. Currently, there are outsourcing solutions for accouting and legal advice to run a small business, but there are not any services for managing operations, growth strategies, increasing profit, increasing revenue, decreasing costs, etc.,
